Welcome to Doves for Peace
Doves for Peace is an organization dedicated to encouraging peace, whether it be world peace, peace in the home, internal peace or any other peace. Doves for Peace was born in 2006 out of the sadness and frustration that our families felt in response to unjustified warfare and its consequent human suffering. We often see yellow ribbon magnets on passing cars and trucks, which say, "Support our Troops." We are proud of our military men and women, but we feel that the magnets are often interpreted as meaning, "Support our Wars." We believe warfare is so horrible that it should only be used as a last resort, and this has not been the case recently. We want to support our troops by bringing them home, and we further want America to be one of the last countries to engage in needless and destructive war, not one of the first. We propose a quiet campaign of simply putting these Doves for Peace magnets on our cars and trucks to show other people who see our magnets and share our opposition to wars that they are not alone. We hope to help, in our own small way, to grow opposition to war. We hope our magnets will bring awareness that peace is an option in our world. All of our products are made in the USA and all employees (including the founding four high school girls) are true American Patriots.
